Visa and Condition |

Visas: Thai nationals do not need a visa for a maximum stay of 30 days, provided they are bona fide tourists with valid passports (must still be valid for three months after completion of visit to South Africa) and hold a confirmed date return ticket. Visa requirements for all other category of applicants: Foreigners applying for visas with South African Embassy have to submit their work and/or resident permits for Thailand as well. A visa application form must be completed with full details. A valid passport which must be valid for three months after completion of visit to South Africa; one photograph; letter from airline/travel agent confirming and providing details of booking; proof of available funds, not in cash; US$ 2,000 (travellers cheques), or bank statement. For business visit, a letter from employer stating that applicant is going to South Africa on official business, and a letter of invitation from South African business partners; a travel itinerary provided by airline or travel agent, confirmation of hotel bookings. Visa application has to be submitted to South African Embassy at 6th Fl., The Park Place, 231 Sarasin Road., Limpini, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. Phone: 253 8473-6 Fax: 253 8477. At least 5 working days are required for the processing and the visa fee of US$ 50.- or THB 1,900.- shall be collected. |

Condition of sales: South African Independent Holidays are sold in conjunction with South African Airways' First, Business Class and Economy Class tickets. Each booking is made on an individual basis, at the same time as air tickets are purchased. Independent Holidays can be for one night, or as many as desired. Included in the basic Independent Holidays package prices are air ticket in the class of your choice plus one night accommodation and inclusive of service charges and applicable government taxes. Choose your independent holidays: There is a choice of hotels in most places, every one is carefully selected to provide the best facilities, quality and value-for-money in its price category. Hotels in each place are classified to give travellers a clear indication of relative price and quality. The classifications used are: ***** (5 stars) or Deluxe **** (4 stars) or Superior First Class *** (3 stars) or First Class ** (2 stars) or Tourist Class We appreciate that as an individual you have individual holiday requirements. So just select the place you want to visit, a hotel in which you would like to stay and which suits your budget, at any length of stay, then you can build in sightseeing tours and excursions or an overland tour, or game viewing. You are free to select from a variety of options, creating your own tailor-made holiday. Then, you can refer to the price guide where we specify precisely what is included and how much your independent holidays will cost. Our comprehensive price guide enables you to see exactly what is included. We specify every detail-type of room, transfers, meals, excursions and sightseeing tours. We also advise you when some items are not included. All you have to do after finalizing your choice is to let us know, and we will gladly arrange a program just for you. The earlier you let us know your requirements, the less chance there will be that the flights and the hotel you have selected will be fully booked. |
